Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design and Development:
    • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
    • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, HRSD, and more.
  • Platform Optimization:
    • Perform platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure optimal performance and security.
    • Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of the ServiceNow environment.
    • Continuously improve existing processes and workflows to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Integration and Automation:
    • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST APIs, SOAP, MID Server, and other integration methods.
    • Implement automation solutions using workflows, flow designer, and scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript).
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
    • Lead code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Documentation and Training:
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
    • Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders to ensure effective adoption of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, trends, and industry best practices.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement within the platform.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
    • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions.
    • Strong expertise in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, or HRSD.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
    • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and integration tools.
    • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including workflows, flow designer, and service portal.
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
    • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more modules.
    • ITIL Foundation Certification (optional but preferred).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Leadership qualities with a focus on mentoring and collaboration.
