Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, HRSD, and more.
- Platform Optimization:
- Perform platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of the ServiceNow environment.
- Continuously improve existing processes and workflows to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Integration and Automation:
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST APIs, SOAP, MID Server, and other integration methods.
- Implement automation solutions using workflows, flow designer, and scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript).
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders, to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Lead code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain high-quality standards.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders to ensure effective adoption of ServiceNow solutions.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, trends, and industry best practices.
- Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement within the platform.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, or HRSD.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and integration tools.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including workflows, flow designer, and service portal.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more modules.
- ITIL Foundation Certification (optional but preferred).
- Soft Skills:
