Junior ServiceNow Developer

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior ServiceNow Developer to join our growing team. As a Junior ServiceNow Developer, you will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions that drive business efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in Solution Development:
    • Support the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.
    • Collaborate with senior developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Assist in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and CSM.
  2. Platform Support and Maintenance:
    • Help with platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure optimal performance.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues under the guidance of senior team members.
    • Support the maintenance of existing workflows, scripts, and integrations.
  3. Integration and Automation:
    • Assist in developing integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST APIs, SOAP, and MID Server.
    • Support the implementation of automation solutions using workflows, flow designer, and scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript).
  4. Collaboration and Learning:
    • Work closely with senior developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver projects.
    • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
    • Continuously learn and stay updated with ServiceNow features, trends, and industry best practices.
  5. Documentation:
    • Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of experience in ServiceNow development or a related field (internships or academic projects are acceptable).
    • Basic understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and modules (ITSM, ITOM, etc.).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
    • Basic knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and integration methods.
    • Understanding of workflows, flow designer, and scripting in ServiceNow.
    • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):
    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
    • ITIL Foundation Certification (optional).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
