Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Solution Development:
- Support the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.
- Collaborate with senior developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Assist in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and CSM.
- Platform Support and Maintenance:
- Help with platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support the maintenance of existing workflows, scripts, and integrations.
- Integration and Automation:
- Assist in developing integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST APIs, SOAP, and MID Server.
- Support the implementation of automation solutions using workflows, flow designer, and scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript).
- Collaboration and Learning:
- Work closely with senior developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver projects.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with ServiceNow features, trends, and industry best practices.
- Documentation:
- Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in ServiceNow development or a related field (internships or academic projects are acceptable).
- Basic understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and modules (ITSM, ITOM, etc.).
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
- Basic knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and integration methods.
- Understanding of workflows, flow designer, and scripting in ServiceNow.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ITIL Foundation Certification (optional).
